Multi-Generational Campaigns for Nonprofits
Aliquid propriae splendide pericula pertinacia vix quo ad. Vim in mollis docendi, eu cum stet bonorum.
Boomers: credibility and community.
Millennials: values alignment and tangible impact.
Gen Z: authenticity and ease.
Gen Z donors are often described as unpredictable, but their behavior is actually fairly legible once you understand what they’re responding to. They give when something moves them — which means emotional resonance matters more than institutional credibility for this cohort. They’re also deeply attuned to authenticity; polished, over-produced content reads as corporate and triggers skepticism. Raw, behind-the-scenes, creator-style content performs better than almost anything else for this audience. They give quickly, easily, and often on mobile — which means frictionless donation flows matter enormously. If your donation page isn’t mobile-optimized, you’re losing Gen Z donors at the moment of conversion. TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts are their primary discovery channels.
